Short styles first
TikTok's limits are tight, so this page sorts every style by how long your text becomes in that style, from the shortest to the longest. Styles that add marks or symbols between letters come last. Plain-length styles such as small caps come first. The order updates as you type.

Nickname, username and bio
TikTok's Help Center lists three fields. The nickname allows up to 30 characters and can be changed once every 7 days, so choose carefully. The username is 2 to 24 characters of letters, numbers, underscores and periods, cannot end in a period, can be changed every 30 days, and cannot contain fancy Unicode. The bio cannot exceed 80 characters.
