Tap a symbol to copy it. A yellow dot means it can look different in some apps (for example it may turn into an emoji). A red dot means at least one system we measured has no glyph for it and may show a box. No dot means it passed our Android and Windows checks.
Tiny marks
Dots, rings and plus signs for glitter lines. They fit tight name limits.
Small stars
Small and four-pointed stars.
Regular stars
Stars of everyday size.
Bold stars
Heavy, shadowed and many-pointed stars.
Star combos
Several marks in one piece. Shortest first.
Emoji stars
These always show in colour.
Sorted by size
Stars come in many sizes, and a name often has room for only a tiny one. We sorted the single symbols by the words in their official Unicode names: tiny marks such as rings and dots, small stars, regular stars, and bold stars with words like heavy or shadowed. This is a rough guide, because every font draws sizes in its own way, but it lets you find a small sparkle fast.
The name under each symbol is its Unicode name, so you can see what you are copying.
Combos and emoji
After the single symbols there are 24 combos made of several marks, listed shortest first, for a glitter line in one tap. The last section holds 5 real emoji, such as the dizzy star and the shooting star, and they always show in colour.
Pairs of small marks around a name are an easy way to get a sparkle frame, as in aesthetic symbols.
