Tap a symbol to copy it. A yellow dot means it can look different in some apps (for example it may turn into an emoji). A red dot means at least one system we measured has no glyph for it and may show a box. No dot means it passed our Android and Windows checks.

The name under each symbol is its official Unicode name, so you can see what it is.

What you are copying
Many cute Japanese text marks are real letters or punctuation. The katakana letter tu is sometimes used as a smile in a name. The wave dash is a long soft line. The postal mark is a sign used on addresses. The name under each symbol is the official Unicode name, so you can learn what it is before you paste it.
Be gentle with characters from a language that you do not read. Some look like decoration but have a meaning, and a short check of the name can save you from using one in the wrong place.
Small combos and emoji
The combos group short pairs that are often used together, such as a star with a wave dash or a music note followed by a wave dash. The emoji group has a few real emoji, such as the cherry blossom and the dango, which show in colour and look different on each phone.
On Android, kana and CJK punctuation are drawn by the Noto Sans CJK font, which is a different font from the one that draws Latin letters, so these marks can sit a little differently next to your name. Pair them with the soft frames from aesthetic symbols.
Questions
What does the katakana tu mean?
It is a letter of the katakana alphabet. Many people use it as a smiling face.
Why do these marks look different next to my letters?
On Android they are drawn by a different font, Noto Sans CJK, than Latin letters.
Do I need to read Japanese to use these?
No, but the name under each symbol tells you what it is.
Are these emoji?
Most are plain text. The emoji group is marked.
